Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

Allow for the possibility that wisdom and healing exist beyond the self—however you define that source.

Purpose: To open yourself to the possibility of help, wisdom, and strength from a source beyond yourself.

List anything that makes you feel hopeful, grounded, or connected. This could be nature, music, a supportive community, a spiritual figure, or acts of kindness. Identify old, limiting beliefs that block you from accepting help (e.g., "I have to do everything myself," "Asking for help is weak," "I don't deserve support"). Recall past moments where help arrived unexpectedly, a problem resolved itself, or you had a moment of clarity you didn't force. This builds faith. Complete the sentence to affirm your openness (e.g., "...there is a strength greater than my fear that can guide me.").
